The Miller Foundation has helped the Battle Creek community by providing grants in part for:

  • Battle Creek Community Foundation
  • Battle Creek Downtown Development
  • Binder Park Zoo
  • Kellogg Community College
  • Battle Creek Unlimited
  • United Way of Greater Battle Creek
  • Y-Center of Battle Creek
  • City of Battle Creek
  • United Arts Council
  • Neighborhoods Incorporated
  • Charitable Union
  • Family Health Center
  • NonProfit Alliance
  • Family & Children's Services

The Foundation seldom funds an entire project but rather joins with others as they work to improve the quality of life in the Battle Creek community. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals nor for continuing operating funds of nonprofit organizations.

The Foundation focuses on assisting local nonprofit, charitable organizations and governmental agencies with projects that provide for: economic development, neighborhood improvement, improving educational outcomes for youth and eliminating barriers to employment for all in Battle Creek, Michigan and the surrounding area.
